"We exist to come alongside parents to make Christ real and known, in the life of the child and their family"
At MVC, we believe that children are a tremendous joy. They are so
creative, energetic, passionate, expressive, and impressionable. In the
Children's Celebration Ministry we consider it a divine privilege to be
a part of helping MVC parents teach their children about the amazing
love and life-transforming power of Jesus. We seek to do this in two
primary ways, first, by freeing up the parents to be able to attend the
worship service where they are fed and encouraged and second, by
focusing our attention on teaching the children about our precious
Savior.

The Children's Celebration format varies according to our different services, but generally, we have separate classes for the following age groups: 2 yr olds, 3-4 yr olds, K-1st grade, 2nd-3rd grade, and 4th-6th grade. During some special events such as the Concert of Prayer, we may have the entire group of kids meet together in a larger group, although we frequently break them up into smaller groups for various activities.
