Kevin Wolfe

pastor | leadership development | deacons | church planting | missions

Kevin WolfeWolfe Family Kevin was born and raised in Fort Collins. He graduated from Fort Collins High School (yes, they are the MIGHTY MIGHTY Lambkins) and went to CSU where he got a business degree. The Lord first got hold of Kevin's life as a freshman at CSU in 1992 and he started attending MVC in 1994. Kevin met his bride, Susan, while spending a year in Hungary with Campus Crusade for Christ. They quickly married when they returned to the states in 1997. Soon after their marriage, they started the college ministry at MVC - called Xtreme Reality - with two students in their living room. Kevin led the college ministry until 2005 when he transitioned to lead pastor at MVC. Kevin completed the Pastoral Institute track in the MVC School of Ministry in 2000. Kevin came on the Pastor board at MVC in the fall of 2002. Kevin's main responsibilities at MVC are to lead the church in the vision God has given us, oversee the student ministries, preaching, and church planting. God has blessed the Wolfes with three beautiful boys - Jaden, Tyler and Caleb. They love to be by the water, whether it would be fly fishing, waterskiing, wakeboarding, or swimming. You will find the Wolfe's in the summer time spending their day off at Horsetooth Reservoir or driving around from garage sale to garage sale (what they call "sanctified gambling"). They love the city of Fort Collins, especially Old Town which is where you can find them many nights eating Walrus Ice cream or eating at Coopersmith's.

Jason McConahy

pastor | teaching & equipping ministries | LifeGroups

Jason McConahyMcConahy Family Jason and Sara both moved to Fort Collins in 1991 to attend CSU. During that first year of college God got a hold of their lives and they started the journey of living for Him. It was during that same time that they began to fall in love with each other. They began coming to Mountain View in 1993 and were married in 1995. After graduation, Jason worked as a Water Resources Engineer for 9 years before leaving engineering to come on staff full-time with the church. He is a graduate of the first class from MVC's Pastoral Institute. Jason's main responsibilities at MVC are preaching and equipping and overseeing LifeGroups (our small groups ministry). Jason and Sara are blessed with four children, Nathan, Micaela, Joel and Bethany. Sara enjoys schooling their children at home and is active in ministering to women and moms. As a family, they love riding their bikes, going to breakfast, reading together, and laughing. Everyone in the family is passionate about making swedish pancakes for breakfast on Fridays.

Wladimir Navarro

pastor | worship training | crossway chapel director of worship development

Wladimir NavarroNavarro FamilyWladimir and Monica Navarro are both natives from Venezuela. They moved to the United States in 1994 for Wlad to do a Master's Degree in Electronic Engineering at CSU. Wlad's passion for music began at an early age and in 1982 he completed two years of Music at the Venezuelan Music Conservatory. He has over 27 years of experience singing and directing choirs, ensembles and Venezuelan folkloric music. Once the Lord saved him in 1993, his passion for music was poured into playing, composing and arranging music for the King. When Wlad joined MVC in 1994, he quickly got involved in the music ministry and was commissioned as a Worship Leader in 1997. After completing graduate school in 1999, he also graduated with the class of 2003 from MVC's Pastoral Institute. Wlad worked as an Electronic Engineer for over 20 years, until coming on staff full-time with the church as Worship Pastor in February 2006. Wlad's main responsibilities at MVC are to lead the Worship Ministry, train and develop Worship Leaders, as well as serve as the Director of Worship Development for the Crossway Chapel Movement. Wlad and Monica met in 1989 and got married in 1994. After 10 years of marriage, God miraculously blessed them with three children Andreina and Gabriela, only 9 months apart, and their son Ruben. Music is a big component in the Navarro household, and they love to praise the Lord in song at all times.

Chris Carlson

pastor | financial advisory committee chairman

Chris CarlsonCarlson FamilyChris grew up in two small farm communities of northeastern Colorado, Fort Morgan & Julesburg, then moved to Fort Collins (the big city!) in 1988 to attend CSU. After getting his degree in civil engineering he worked for a local water resources consulting firm for 12 years. During that time he came to know the Lord through the ministry of Mountain View Community Church, a couple of cycling buddies who attended MVC, and through the outreach of his future bride, Corina. Chris was baptized in a hot tub at MVC in 1997 and married Corina several months later, beginning a wonderful journey of growing in the Lord together. He has served in numerous capacities through the years culminating in graduation from MVC’s Pastor’s Institute in 2006. Currently, Chris chairs the church’s Financial Advisory Committee, oversees the church’s finances, and leads a Life Group. God has blessed Chris and Corina with two beautiful children, Colby and Clara, and a crazy black lab, Pepper. Chris loves being in the outdoors doing things like bicycle racing, hunting, fly fishing, camping, backpacking and hiking. In his spare time he works for the City of Loveland’s Stormwater Engineering Division as a civil engineer, a position he’s held for the last five years.

Cyrus Salehi

Cyrus SalehiSalehi Family Cyrus graduated from Sonoma State University with a degree in psychology with an emphasis on marriage and the family. God eventually drew them to Sacramento for 5 years as Cyrus worked in the mortgage industry, served in their church, and took some seminary courses. God, again, redirected Cyrus and his family's path and led them to Colorado in February of 2005. Cyrus has been happily married for 12 years and adores his dates/time with his beautiful wife. Cyrus also has three amazing kids (Allison 11, Ashley 9, and Joshua 6) that he loves to spend his time with! (Can't beat daddy daughter dates with his girls and UFC matches with his son!) Cyrus graduated from the Pastor’s Institute in December of 2007 and loves counseling, teaching, and serving this body. Cyrus’ secret love is cooking (would love to challenge Bobby Flay to a throw down over burgers!) Cyrus also passionately follows the S.J. Sharks, Dodgers, and St. Louis Rams. He lives off worship and praise music, devours theology and marriage books, and especially loves epic movies like Gladiator and The Lord of the Rings that he can grunt to!
