Are You Multiplying?

By Jason McConahy | Published Monday, August 24, 2009

Yesterday I made the case that each one of us, as a disciple (or follower) of Christ, has been called into a life of spiritual multiplication.  That is, we are to take what God is doing in us, and pour it out unto others.  That is how the kingdom goes forth (Matthew 28:18-20).  Each one of us is simultaneously growing in Christ (and will be for the rest of our lives), while reaching others with the gospel and helping them grow in Christ.  Are you multiplying yourself into the lives of others?  Who has God placed in your life that you can intentionally seek to help them grow in Christ?  And who is in your life who doesn't yet know the savior that you are intentionally moving toward with the gospel?

One practical way to get involved is through one-on-one discipleship.  We have some material designed to help someone get grounded in the "foundations" of the Christian life.

Are you interested in having someone meet with you for 8 weeks to help you grow in your relationship with Christ?

Are you interested in helping someone grow by meeting with them and taking them through the study of these foundations in God's word?

If you answered yes to either of these questions, shoot me an e-mail and I will pair you up with someone to begin the journey with (jason@mvcchurch.org).
