Mountain View Community Church has been committed to raising up pastors from within the local church. It is our desire to see pastors who have a firm grip on God's word, Godly character and person life, and a shepherds heart for His people.

This two-year program combines biblical and theological learning with "hands-on" ministry experience as each person in the program is required to be leading a shepherding ministry within the church body. The program is recognized and fulfills the Missionary Church Denomination's requirements for licensing to be a pastor. Many graduates of this program are currently pastors or leaders in the church plants.

There areas that the Pastors Institute focuses on:

• Right Handling of God's Word (Bible Knowledge, Proper Theology, Practical Theology)
• Character and personal holiness
• Practical ministry equipping
• Mentorship from other leaders
