Over the past two weeks in our GREATER sermon series we have looked at the gospel in two different ways. The first is to think of the gospel as a story (Creation, Fall, Redemption, Restoration), and the second is to think of the gospel as a message (God, Man, Christ, Response). There is an excellent booking our new “bookstore” (in the Family Room just off the sanctuary) by Matt Chandler called “The Explicit Gospel”. He refers to these two ways of thinking of the gospel as the gospel “in the air” and the gospel “on the ground”. If you are looking for a resource to take your heart deeper into an appreciation of God’s glorious grace through the gospel, consider grabbing a copy of this book on Sunday.
