High School Crew
Crew is Mountain View Community Church's High School ministry. We desire to see youth around Fort Collins come to a life-changing, life-saving personal relationship with Jesus Christ. We strive to support parents in teaching their children the truth of God's Word so that youth "may be adequate, equipped for every good work" (2 Timothy 3:16-17). We wish to prepare youth to proclaim the gospel, so that they are, "not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes..." (Romans 1:16). We seek to build the confidence of youth in the truth of the Christian faith, so that they may be able to make a defense to everyone who asks them to give an account for the hope that is in them (1 Peter 3:15). We seek to live our lives alongside the youth so that in "speech, conduct, love, faith, and purity" they may "show themselves an example of those who believe” (1 Timothy 4:12).
High School Crew meets Wednesday nights from 7:00-9:00pm at Mountain View Community Church (328 Remington St) - come early to hang out at 6:30! See our current schedule on the right under Upcoming Events. We have small groups for High School students that meet at various times throughout the week - contact us to find out more about our small groups!
Mission and Vision
We exist to Make Christ known as we passionately love him together.
“And he died for all, that those who live should no longer live for themselves but for him who died for them and was raised again.”
2 Corinthians 5:15
We desire for High School students all over Fort Collins to know that Christ died for them and that they have a bigger purpose to live not for themselves but for Him. We desire to partner with parents to help students grow in worship, community and mission.
Worship is expressed in several ways, such as praying (Ps. 95:6), hearing the Word (John 17:17; Deut. 31:11), giving (1 Cor. 16:1–2), baptizing (Rom. 6:3–4), as well as singing songs of Worship.
Mission is expressed through living not living for ourselves but for Him who died for us. It is living out Matthew 28:16-20 on campuses all over Fort Collins
Community is expressed through meeting in large groups, small groups, and one on one. Acts 2:42-47
