Biblical Distinctives will help you develop your own biblical convictions through the study of several important topics, while learning what MVC believes and how it influences our philosophy of ministry. Thursday is move-in day for students living on campus at CSU. Every year, a group of us gather to pray for the college students and MVC student ministries in general as the students move in. This prayer walk is encouraging, exciting, and humbling and it is a wonderful opportunity for us to seek the Lord together. Please join us in being dependent on the Lord for our student ministries. We will meet on the east side of the Lory Student Center (the CSU plaza) at 8:15am. See you there!
We will be hosting church-wide meetings with our architect to gather feedback, input and ideas for designing the new facility! We will hold 4 meetings in order to hear from as many people as possible (each of the meetings will be the same). Spots are limited and registration will be required.

This year’s Vacation Bible School will be Monday: June 10th through Friday: June 14th. VBS is a blast for the kiddos - we spend the week playing games, creating crafts, singing songs about Jesus and learning more about Him - all in a fun and interactive environment! This year’s theme for VBS is ROAR-Life is Wild, God is Good. VBS is also a great opportunity to invite the children of friends and neighbors.

Join us for our yearly training for all future student ministry leaders. We'll meet on Friday evening (6:30-9pm) to kick things off with a night of worship and fun. We'll then reconvene Saturday (8-4pm) for a day of training. Lunch will be provided on Saturday.

There will be a 15 minute meeting after each service in the offices upstairs. Perspectives is a fifteen week course designed to help people discover their place in God's global purposes. Many in our church body have been immensely blessed and shaped by this course. Our Network of Churches has a passion to plant healthy, reproducing churches all over the world for the glory of God! Join us for an encouraging and equipping weekend to learn more about church planting and your part in making this vision a reality. This year we will focus on how healthy multiplication at all levels leads to healthy church plants in the future. Dave DeVries (church planter, author, and coach) will be our keynote speaker for the Catalyst this year.
The St. Patrick's Day Parade in Old Town passes right by our church building every year! This creates a wonderful opportunity for us to reach out to the community. We set up a booth outside the church building and provide a warm drink and baked goods for people as they enjoy the parade, as well as open our building to warm up and use the restroom.
We need people to serve that morning at the church in various ways before, during, and after the parade and people to bring baked goods to the church the week leading up to the parade that we can giveaway during the outreach event..
